It all started at work

A nice lady that I work with has been crocheting forever, apparently. She is just that good. Well, I was never interested until my hubby an I decided it was baby time. I still have my baby blankets and my mom still has one that was crocheted for me 26 years ago. I decided that it was only fair that I crochet a blanket for our new little one. I wanted to make a blanket filled with love. So, the process began.

The baby blanket ended up being a little weird, but nice. The picture above is obviously not the final project (pictures to come).

Project number two had to be for my Schmoopie. He wanted a blanket too. However, he's a little taller than an infant. So, I make a blanket that would cover him without a problem. This one came out okay. I'm still pretty proud of it, plus it is functional. Nevertheless, the places where I added new scans of yarn is noticeable. So, I kept the ball rolling . .

Project number three was for my favorite person in the world, "Doc Mom," as Cool calls her. Well, it was a disaster. So was project number four. Both of her blankets came out C+ work. I asked that she not attach my professional crocheting status to such works.
